  New Zealand is a developed economy based on trade, with relatively stable political situation, sound legal system, fully developed market mechanism and friendly business environment。Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, China-New Zealand relations have maintained sound and steady development and made many achievements。New Zealand is an important economic and trade partner of China in Oceania and the first Western developed country to sign a bilateral free trade agreement with China。Over the years, bilateral trade between China and New Zealand has shown strong resilience and two-way investment has remained stable。Since the signing and coming into effect in 2008, the China-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement has strongly promoted the rapid development of bilateral trade. The total trade in goods between China and New Zealand has increased from US $4.4 billion in 2008 to US $25.4 billion in 2022, with an average annual growth rate of 13 percent。China has been New Zealand's largest trading partner, export destination and import source for many years in a row。In the future, there is broad space for mutually beneficial cooperation between China and New Zealand in trade, investment and other fields。

  Vanuatu
